Vietnam Trip
When I was in Secondary 3, I had a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to travel overseas for the first time since COVID-19. I was absolutely overjoyed, as it was my first chance to travel after the long lockdown period.
This trip was incredibly memorable for several reasons. I not only immersed myself in the rich culture of Vietnam but also had the unique opportunity to interact with students at the Archimedes International School. We collaborated on identifying a problem in Vietnam and brainstormed innovative solutions, which was a truly enriching experience.
In addition to our collaborative project, we visited numerous attractions. The highlight of the trip was undoubtedly our visit to VinHomes Smart City. Being there felt like stepping into the future, with self-driving buses, electric cars, and digital signboards everywhere. We even toured the VinHomes factory, witnessing the intricate process of car manufacturing firsthand. This was a fascinating and educational experience that left a lasting impression on me.
Exploring the bustling markets, tasting the local cuisine, and visiting historical sites further enriched my understanding of Vietnam’s vibrant culture and history. The hospitality and warmth of the Vietnamese people made the trip even more special.
This journey was not only a significant learning experience but also a source of immense joy and inspiration. It reinforced the importance of global connections and cultural exchange. I will undoubtedly cherish these memories forever and carry the lessons I learned with me throughout my life
