RC volunteer
Once I was in Secondary 1, I have been actively participating in my local Residents' Committee (RC) for various events such as distributing hampers, handing out rice bags, celebrating Mid-Autumn festivals, and many more. I find great joy in interacting with the people in my neighborhood, meeting new friends, and helping those in need. This is why I seize any volunteering opportunity that comes my way.
Volunteering has allowed me to form meaningful connections within my community and has taught me the value of empathy and compassion. Each event is a chance to make a positive impact, and the gratitude and smiles from those we help are incredibly rewarding. These experiences have inspired me to continue contributing to my community and have strengthened my commitment to service.
